What a year!!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Megan. It reminds me (and my mom) of my Grandma Schreiber. She would have loved the babies.
This picture was taken shortly after they were born. I think Elliott is on the left. :)
This "pose" happened several times a day after I finished feeding them. They would almost always fall asleep right after eating the first several months. I fed them at the same time for about 4 months.

It feels like YESTERDAY I started keeping this blog. If I only knew then what I know now I:

1. Wouldn't have gone to the hospital at 36 weeks thinking I was in labor (because of course I wasn't!!) Really, I was having regular contractions...I swear!!
2. Wow, besides that I wouldn't have changed a single thing!

We went to visit Nana and Grandpa Smith's for the first Illinois football game. Mike has season tickets with his dad. Savannah had the best time riding big tractors with her Grandpa. I am pretty sure he enjoyed himself as well!! Elliott and Megan love crawling around Nana and Grandpa's house exploring.

We also got to see Bella and Brishen Weir for brunch on Sunday. It was a fabulous weekend!

Baptism part 1

I thought I would post a few pics Uncle Andy took this past weekend. I labeled this part one as I'm sure my dad took a few pics too! We had a great weekend. Both sets of Grandparents, Brooke, Andy, Grant and Sarah came to celebrate Savannah and Grant's 5th Birthday and the babies baptism. The baptism was great, the babies were excellent during church. For those of you that don't know, Megan's baptismal gown was made by my good friend Kristin Mayhew out of material from my wedding dress. Savannah wore it for her baptism and Sarah wore it as well. Elliott's outfit was bought the modern way...EBay!! Ha!
Savannah and Grant enjoyed playing together this weekend...well maybe a little too much. We have been letting the kids sleep in the same room the last several visits, a "sleepover" trail for both kids. I wake up at 5am on Saturday morning to a somewhat loud thumping noise. At first I thought it was thunder, so I ignored it. After listening a little longer for rain and not hearing any...I got up to investigate. The "big kids" where running around Savannah's room playing horses. All the lights where on in the bedroom and bathroom and it appeared they had been awake for some time. Needless to say, the fun ended (I am so mean huh) and they had to go back to sleep!
We had a wonderful weekend!!
