sprinker fun

While Savannah was at school today, Elliott found the sprinkler in the garage and brought it to me. Needless to say fun was had by the Smith babies today. :) He was right, it was a beautiful day for the sprinkler.

Soccer

Savannah is playing soccer again this year. She is having a lot of fun! This past week her team (the Lions) played her friends Ellie and Abbey's team. Ellie is the little girl in the pink pants. The game could have also been called the Ellie vs. Savannah game as they are both great little players!! I posted a lot of pictures because all of Savannah's facial expressions crack me up.

Easter 2010

Megan, Elliott and I took Savannah and her friend Ellie to the carnival up the street yesterday. It was so fun to watch them!!

Hair Cut

Savannah is on spring break this week. We have had a great week of sleeping in, playing outside, staying up late, taking walks and bike rides. It has been nice to have her around all day. We had a VERY busy day today. First we took our little lion (Elliott), tiger (Savannah), and bear (Meg) to the zoo. It was such a beautiful day and we all had a great time. Then we took the babies for their first hair cut. Elliott is such a flirt. He really enjoyed all of the attention from the ladies at the salon. I was really worried he might loose his curl after the cut, but actually it is a little more curly!! Yea!! Megan wasn't so interested in the ladies or getting her hair cut (luckily she just got a little bang trim). We will have to get a few pics of Meg's next hair cut since she wasn't too thrilled with this one!! :) I also posted a few pics of the babies from last week. Both babies love to talk on the phone. It is funny to hear the difference in how they talk. Megan carries on an entire conversation in "Meg" language and Elliott just hollars for Dadda the whole time. Megan is also into wearing necklaces, gotta start her early!!

The kids and I took a "vacation" to Grandma and Poopa Fechter's house this week to be snowed in!! Mike had to work night shifts for 3 nights and lots of snow was forcasted so we took off to Seymour before the snow started. Here are a few pics we took last night. Per request I also posted a picture of Elliott's curly hair....it is so cute!!

It seems like so much has happened since I last posted. Well I guess it has! Christmas was a blast. Savannah was at the best age this year, she loved all of her toys and had a great 2 weeks off of school. A few of her favorite Christmas toys were her super dog cape, a jeep and horse trailer, and her playmobile sets. She has gotten to use the sled Santa brought several times in the past month :). The twins love the huge stuffed friends Santa brought them (Savannah decided Elliott gets the Elephant and Meg gets the Giraffe). They also love all the push and ride on toys they got. They are becoming experts at walking now. In fact, Elliott has been cought "running" a time or two. They aren't big talkers. Both can say Mommy, Daddy, Dog, and Meg's most recent addition is Baby. They can repeat a lot of sounds, but not much is completely clear. They are definitely not the talkers that Savannah was at this age. Elliott is going to be our social butterfly. Meg seems to be a little more quiet and cling to Mom and Dad more than E. The twins and I took Savannah to a after school reading progam the other night and Elliott "flirted" with all the kids and moms and Megan was happy to sit back and suck her thumb. They are such sweet babies.

Savannah finally gets her cast off today, so we had to take a few pics before it comes off. The last cast she decided to get Colts colors since she has become a fair weather Colts fan!! She has done so well with her cast and has been a real trooper. She is looking forward to wearing long sleeves again and playing soccer in a few months!!
