More June

Thought I would post a few more pics from June. The last 2 pics are from Savannah's graduation. The two little boys are her best friends at school Luke and Owen. They are twins and a month older than Savannah (she towers over most kids her age). The last picture is of Savannah with her two teachers Miss Cindy and Miss Julie.

June

This month the babies have had several firsts. Elliott is sitting well on his own. Megan is very close to sitting unassisted, she still falls after a minute or so. Both babies have teeth. Elliott's first came sometime the last week of May and he now has 2. Megan's first tooth came through in this past week. Elliott is finally sleeping all night most nights!! YEA!!! Both babies are very close to crawling and hense Mike has started putting up baby gates.

The first three pictures are from our trip to the Columbus, Ohio zoo this week. We all had a great time. Savannah's favorite thing there was the train ride, boat ride, and carousel. Hmmm...no mention of any animals, oh well. The last two pictures are from a trip to the park from earlier in the month. The babies love sharing a swing. This trick isn't going to work for too much longer as they just keep growing!!

Savannah's soccer

Savannah played SAY soccer the past 6 weeks and had lots of fun. We have a budding soccer star on our hands. She did so well and had a great time!

Bumbo

The twins are loving their bumbo seats now. They are 7 months old! Wow, has time flown. They are both still rolling to get toys, sitting now with lots of assistance, and standing more when we hold them. They LOVE the johnny jumper and exersaucers (I'm really glad I bought two).

We registered Savannah for kindergarden this week, she is very excited. The other day Savannah was telling us that she could now spell hot dog. She thoughfully proceeded....H-o-t spacebar d-o-g. Does she live in a computer world or what!!

A few pics from this weekend...

Disney 2009

We had so much fun in Disney the last week of April. Savannah LOVED seeing all the characters. Funny thing, we saw one of Donald Duck's nephews and she said she didn't want to meet him because "he wasn't real, since he didn't have a show!!" Grandma and Poohpa Fechter came with us for the weekend. We also got to spend the afternoon with Ellie, David, Danny and Caryn. Ellie and Savannah had a blast swimming and playing.

Easter

We have had a very busy month. The last week of March we celebrated Poohpah Fechter's 60th birthday and Daddy's 36th birthday. We visited Poohpa and Nana at the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. We celebrated Easter at home. We went to church and relaxed at home opening lots of Easter gifts and hunting for eggs in the basement. Elliott is 16 1/2 pounds now and Megan 14 1/2. At least for now we have two very tall girls. Megan is an inch longer than Elliott (for now) and at the 95th percentile! They are both rolling everywhere now, even rolling to reach a toy. Savannah is starting Soccer this month and has been practicing on her bike when we have a nice day outside. We go to Disney next week so I'm sure I will have more pictures to post from our trip.
