The twins are now 5 months old!! They are eating more and more babyfood and playing with toys now. They continue to be very pleasant babies, smiling and talking too!! Megan still is still sleeping all night and Elliott has joined her a few nights. We celebrated Nana and Poopa Smith's 40th wedding anniversary with Brooke, Andy, Grant, Sarah and of course Nana and Poopa. We even got a babysitter to go out do an adult dinner (ok, we got 3 sitters!).

We (actually Poohpah Fechter) took these pics of the babies on a rocking chair that was mine when I was little. We have taken lots of pictures of Savannah over the years in the same chair. Unfortunately, Elliott had to nap during our photo shoot!! The pictures of the kids in the swim suits were taken last weekend on our vacation to the Great Wolf Lodge in Cinci. We went with our friends the Iden's and had a great time.

Savannah was VERY excited for her first visit to Chucky Cheese. She loves playing games and riding all the rides. The twins were intrigued by the giant mouse at Chucky Cheese. Savannah got to ride her bike and throw a snow ball on the same day!!

The babies are 4 months now and wow are they fun!! The both are very active now rolling over more and just moving around a lot more. They both have the biggest smiles. Megan is sleeping all night now (hopefully big brother will figure it out one of these days). At their 4 month appointment Elliott was 13#7oz and Megan 11#14oz. Megan is at the 95%ile for height!! I guess we have very tall girls. We tried a little rice cereal last night, starting baby food is always very exciting! Savannah has had a great few weeks too as we have gotten some snow. She loves to play in the snow, making snow angels and riding the sled. Although her favorite part is definately throwing snow balls at Mommy and Daddy. She is getting ready for valentines day this week at school, she got to pick out valentines this week.

3 months

The babies are smiling all the time now, that is unless they are tired or hungry!! These are the first pictures I have taken where they are both smiling. Usually it is one or the other with a big grin and sibling is crying!! My friend Jill (and John and Johnny of course) gave them these adorable outfits.

We have had a great time over Christmas with LOTS of visitors. First Uncle Brant came to visit the weekend before Christmas. Savannah had SO much fun with him playing music!!! He got her a guitar for Christmas which was a huge hit!! The twins were very excited to meet him too. Uncle Brant brought Grandma and Poohpah Fechter with him for the visit. Nana and Poohpah came for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Savannah got just what she wanted from Santa and black dog that isn't real. His name is Black Black Blackey Smith. Marcia came for a few days. All of the kids loved playing with her, including Mike and Kayla. Then Brooke, Andy, Grant, and Sarah came for a few days. The babies absolutely loved watching all the big kids play (including Sarah). We went to the train museum while they were in town. Then to top it all off over New Years (while Dad was working) Mommy took the kids to Seymour to see Brant, Grandma and Poohpah. Whhhheewww...what a busy holiday for the Smiths.
